Galianos Fournos first opened its doors in 1975 in a village of the Municipality of Phaistos, France. Ten years later, in 1985, it was moved to Moires, where it still operates today, closing almost half a century.
Before the oven was moved, it did not have a name, as it was the only oven in France. The inscription maker Stelios Gioulountas, while making the sign for the new store in Moires, asked his associates to find out who it was intended for. So when he was told to move the oven from France, he knew exactly what he had to do. So he made an inscription, on which was written the name ΄΄Galianos Fournos΄΄. To him we owe this name that makes us stand out even today.
In our store, you can find a wide variety of products, from traditional rusks and piggy banks, breadsticks, various types of bread, pastries to syrups, p’tit fours and other sweets, all made with love, pure ingredients and plenty of taste.
The second generation took over the management of the store in 2005. Since then, the purpose of the bakery has been to marry the tradition with the most advanced, modern bakery.
